Beta Club & K5 Collaborate for the 100th Day

Diamond Hill Elementary's Junior Beta Club has been collecting donations for the past two weeks. The students at our school did a FANTASTIC job of donating items. They brought in 87 pairs of fuzzy socks, 71 boxes of Band-Aids, 213 tubes of Chap Stick, 54 bottles of Lysol wipes, 158 bottles of dish soap, 19 bags of candy, 86 bars of soap, 26 hand soaps, and 15 cans of Lysol spray. The Beta Club members collected the items and the K5 used some of the items to practice counting to 100 on the 100th day of school. These items will soon be donated to places in our community. Places such as the nursing homes, animal shelter, and school nurses will receive some of these items.
