Diamond Hill Elementary School

This morning our 5th graders visited The Learning Garden on the Hill to apply their math skills in real-world situations. Students explored concepts of area, perimeter, and volume by calculating the capacity of our newly donated raised garden beds. Their work helped determine how much soil will be needed to fill the beds, supporting the launch of our new Herb Garden and the expansion of our vegetable garden.
